Objective: to understand the meaning of the family's reintegration attributed by the family experiencing it and to construct a representative theoretical model of this experience. Method: this is a qualitative study, conducted with four families with a total of 20 interviewees, with Symbolic Interactionism as theoretical framework, Grounded Theory as methodological, participant observation and the experience of musical making, mediating the interview as strategies of data collection. Results: a comparative analysis of the data led to the identification of the main category and to the construction of the theoretical model TRYING TO REBUILD WHAT WAS BROKEN. Conclusion: the family experiencing reintegration lives a process of reconstruction that allows to revisit situations of abandonment and review the behavior of caring and re-meaning of family coexistence. For the health professional, this study invites to think about this theme and to review the concept of family, in order to create their own sense of care.

Objective: to present and reflect on the articulation between the Attachment Theory, Symbolic Interactionism and Grounded Theory in the study of bonding and interaction between caregivers and institutionalized children.Method: the data were collected between April and July 2015 through intensive interviews, structured observation and a field diary, at a shelter institution that welcomes children between zero and eight years old in a city in the South of Brazil. Fifteen caregivers and six children participated in the research.Results: the Attachment Theory and Symbolic Interactionism permitted understanding the implications of the establishment and rupture of bonds and the strategies the caregivers use in this interaction. The Grounded Theory guided the elaboration of the theoretical model "Perceiving the work/care for institutionalized children". Método: los datos fueron recolectados de abril a julio de 2015, por medio de una entrevista intensiva, observación estructurada y diario de campo, en un refugio institucional que acoge a niños de cero a ocho años, en un municipio del sur de Brasil. Participaron en la investigación 15 cuidadores y seis niños. ConclusionResultados: la Teoría del Apego y el Interaccionismo Simbólico posibilitaron comprender las implicaciones de la formación y ruptura de vínculos y las estrategias utilizadas por los cuidadores en esta interacción. La Teoría Fundamentada en los Datos condujo la elaboración del modelo teórico "Percibiendo el trabajo / cuidado con niños institucionalizados".Conclusión: la articulación entre la Teoría del Apego, el Interaccionismo Simbólico y la Teoría Fundamentada se mostró consistente para el estudio desarrollado, contribuyendo para el cuidado en el contexto del abrigo infantil.

Objetivo: analisar o significado contextual em que ocorre o acidente com equipamento perfurocortante. Método: estudo com abordagem qualitativa, com base na Grounded Theory, aprovado por Comitê de Ética em Pesquisa. Participaram 20 profissionais de enfermagem de um hospital público municipal do Rio de Janeiro, por entrevista semiestruturada, no período de julho de 2013 a abril de 2014, sendo os dados analisados à luz do referido método: codificação aberta, axial e seletiva. Resultados: três categorias revelam o significado contextual: percebendo o contexto de trabalho: uma realidade; interagindo com as equipes no ambiente de trabalho; refletindo sobre a profissão e o cuidado com o profissional de enfermagem. Conclusão:as categorias apontam a complexidade de determinados setores, recursos físicos e materiais inadequados, desorganização no processo de trabalho, falta de suporte no atendimento de acidente com material biológico como principais contextos para essa ocorrência.ABSTRACTObjective: to analyze the contextual meaning in which the accident with sharp equipment occurs. Method: a qualitative study, based on the Grounded Theory, approved by the Research Ethics Committee. Twenty nursing professionals from a municipal public hospital in Rio de Janeiro participated by a semistructured interview from july 2013 to april 2014. Data were analyzed in the light of this method: open, axial and selective coding. Results: three categories reveal the contextual meaning: perceiving the work context: a reality; interacting with teams in the work environment; reflecting on the profession and care with the nursing professional. Conclusion: the categories indicate the complexity of certain sectors, inadequate physical and material resources, disorganization in the work process, lack of support in the care of accidents with biological material as main contexts for this occurrence.RESUMENObjetivo: analizar el significado contextual en que ocurre el accidente con equipo punzocortante. Método: estudio con abordaje cualitativo, con base en la Grounded Theory, aprobado por Comité de Ética en Investigación. Participaron 20 profesionales de enfermería de un hospital público municipal de Río de Janeiro, por entrevista semiestructurada, en el período de julio de 2013 a abril de 2014. Los datos se analizaron a la luz de este método: codificación abierta, axial y selectiva. Resultados: tres categorías revelan el significado contextual: percibiendo el contexto de trabajo: una realidad; interactuando con los equipos en el ambiente de trabajo; reflexionando sobre la profesión y el cuidado con el profesional de enfermería. Conclusión: as categorías apuntan a la complejidad de determinados sectores, recursos físicos y materiales inadecuados, desorganización en el proceso de trabajo, falta de soporte en la atención de accidentes con material biológico como principales contextos para esta ocurrencia.
