Abstract: -The American Alliance for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance (AAHPERD) test battery assesses the functional fitness of older adults in five motor fitness tests. The objective of this study was to adapt and test the AAHPERD in institutionalized older adults and to define normative values of functional fitness for this population.
