“…Los trabajos pioneros de Bautista (2009Bautista ( , 2010Bautista ( , 2013Bautista ( , 2017Bautista ( , 2019, plantean el potencial de la narración con el lenguaje de la fotografía para la comprensión de los humanos y de los acontecimientos que rodean al grupo que narra. Este autor identifica la narración fotográfica como la base de una educación intercultural porque en el proceso de narración los miembros de un grupo, estudiantes (Bautista, Rayón, & de las Heras, 2012) y familias (Bautista, Limón, Oñate, & Rostand, 2016), plantean contenidos de historias, confrontan pareceres sobre los elementos visuales a emplear, acuerdan la estructura narrativa y, sobre todo, tienen oportunidades de conocerse y comprender sus diferencias, y por tanto, de comenzar a apreciarse.
