Show more

“…P. edulis, although showing the lowest NL, has higher TLA, with superiority of 163.71 and 58.38% in relation to P. cincinnata and P. gibertii, respectively ( Figure 2B). This result differs from that obtained by Sousa et al (2013) in the Passiflora species P. edulis, P. alata and P. ligularis. These authors observed significant difference for NL between the species at 70 days after transplanting.…”

“…Among these, vermicompost and coconut powder stand out as efficient, low‐cost, and easily purchasable organic inputs . The use of organic fertilizers is a common practice in the cultivation of yellow passion fruit ( Passiflora edulis f. flavicarpa ), reducing the application of chemical inputs, promoting the development of microorganisms, such as arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF), and affording an increase in the synthesis of bioactive agents, such as phenolic compounds …”

“…Among the treatments applied, the growth characteristics showed significant difference by the F test in at least one evaluation period (34, 41, 49, and 58 days after planting), except for the number of leaves (Figure 1 a), which did not differ in any of the evaluations. Other authors found no differences in the production of leaves in passion fruit seedlings in response to fertilization, such as Prates et al (2010) and Sousa et al (2013), at 70 days after sowing, since it is a genetic trait and, hence, more difficult to be changed. ) clearly showed no difference between treatments at 34 days after sowing.…”
