Optic neuritis due to immunobiologics: first Brazilian case report

Abstract: The change in immunological response obtained by immunobiologics has brought a new paradigm to the treatment of immune-mediated disorders. As a result of their efficacy, there is a positive impact on the quality of life of patients. However, severe side effects, such as demyelination of cerebral or peripheral nerves, have been reported.
