Abstract: Purpose: To monitor the auditory pathway maturation of infants born small for gestational age (SGA), according to body proportionality, in the first six months of life. “…Essas duas variáveis antropométricas devem ser levadas em consideração para comparação entre crianças classificadas como adequada para idade gestacional (AIG) e pequena para idade gestacional (PIG) ao nascer. Estudos demonstram que crianças PIG são mais susceptíveis a apresentarem ADNPM e danos cerebrais, visto que, essa classificação indica que o crescimento intrauterino esperado não foi alcançado (Angrisani et al, 2015).
