Saber local e medicina popular: a etnobotânica em Cuiabá, Mato Grosso, Brasil

Abstract: O estudo foi realizado na comunidade Bom Jardim, em Cuiabá, Mato Grosso, com o objetivo de resgatar o conhecimento que as pessoas possuem das plantas como remédio, o quanto as utilizam e a finalidade do uso. Aplicou-se o pré-teste, entrevistas semiestruturadas e observação direta, abordando o uso, a preparação da planta e a indicação das mesmas.
