O objetivo do presente estudo foi analisar a produção científica relacionada à psicologia do esporte (PE) em periódicos das Ciências do Esporte. Realizou-se uma revisão sistemática que seguiu os critérios recomendados pela Declaração PRISMA em agosto de 2016 em 15 periódicos relacionados as Ciências do Esporte. Cento e quarenta e cinco estudos foram selecionados. O primeiro estudo encontrado sobre o tema foi publicado em 1997, sendo que houve aumento na produção de artigos a partir de 2007. O periódico que mais publicou sobre PE foi a Revista da Educação Física, da Universidade Estadual de Maringá com 24 publicações. As instituições que se destacaram em relação ao número de publicações foram: UEM, UFJF, UFMG, USP e UDESC, com mais de 10 estudos publicados cada. Os estados com maior número de publicações foram Paraná, São Paulo e Minas Gerais. No total 49 modalidades esportivas foram investigadas, sendo o Voleibol mais investigado, seguido pelo Futebol e Basquetebol. A motivação foi a variável psicológica mais investigada, além do estresse, ansiedade e estados de humor. Conclui-se que houve um aumento na produção de estudos sobre PE na última década. Temas aplicados ao esporte como treinamento mental, técnicas de ativação e relaxamento necessitam mais investigações.

We performed a comparative analysis of the scientific views of Russian and foreign scientists on the training activities of judo. Results were taken from scientific research performed by Russian and foreign scientists over the last 12 years. Using a structural analysis of important research work (articles and dissertations), we identified the main research directions of Russian scientists. We compared the results obtained with the scientific ideas of foreign experts. Our comparative analysis of the data showed that for some areas of wrestler training the views of Russian and foreign scientists significantly differ. There is a significant divergence of scientific views between Russian and foreign specialists in the sport of judo. This involved the problems of training athletes for competitive activities and the principles for selecting children and youths for judo during the initial stage of judo preparation.

What Triggers Us to Be Involved in Martial Arts? Relationships between Motivations and Gender, Age and Training Experience

The study aims to recognize the motivations to engage in judo depending on gender, age and level of sports experience among nonelite judokas from the Greater Poland region because previous studies mostly concerned the motivations of top athletes. We supposed that there was a relationship between age, gender, level of sports experience and motivations in judo. During the diagnostic survey, judokas completed the Polish version of the Sport Motivation Scale. In order to determine the motivational profiles of judokas, cluster analysis was performed using the k-means method. The highest values were obtained for motivations related to the intrinsic motivation to experience stimulation and the intrinsic motivation to accomplish, while the lowest values were obtained for motivations related to amotivation and external regulation. The research results showed a relationship between experience in judo training and the motivations of judokas; however, the motivations of the judokas were not differentiated based on their gender or age. In our study, the intrinsic motivation to experience stimulation turned out to be more important for judokas participating in competitions, while recreational athletes more often indicated experiencing amotivation. The intrinsic motivation to accomplish and intrinsic motivation to know turned out to be more important for athletes in training for more than 10 years, while amotivation was more often indicated to be experienced by judokas practicing judo for less than 10 years. Respondents who reported high internal motivation values and had a motivational structure they shaped themselves had been training for longer—for more than 10 years. In our study, the three motivational groups of judokas were identified, and we found that judo experience differentiated belonging to groups. It is recommended to check other martial arts and check more variables in the future, e.g., marital status, which is a potentially important factor in the field of sport motivation.
