-Aims:To reveal the pedagogical principles adopted by Brazilian coaches in teaching handball to the under-12 teams (U-12). Methods: The sample included six coaches with extensive coaching experience, whose reports were collected through semi-structured interviews. The data were treated and analyzed according to the Collective Subject Discourse (CSD) method. Results: The results indicated a preference for game-centered approaches (CSD1), as they offer a complex environment in which distinct game skills can be developed (such as perception, attention, anticipation and decision making). To a lesser extent, coaches indicated their preference for teaching coordination exercises (justified by the maturation changes that take place during this period), and even less for the technique approach. Conclusion: Based on the coaches' perspective, games must be a central element to teaching U-12 teams, which permits the development of different aspects involved in decision-making during handball.

-Aims:The main objective of this study was to analyze the factors that preceded field goals made in the 2014 NBA finals considering the number of passes per offense, shooting conditions, and offense type variables. Methods: We assessed field goals attempted by 27 professional players that participated in the 2014 NBA finals. Data were collected by three researchers through an adapted version of the Technical-Tactical Performance Evaluation Tool in Basketball to systematically analyze all five games of those finals. Descriptive analysis consisted in absolute and relative frequency and inferential statistics were applied through Chi-Square test, Cohen's D for effect size, and binary logistic regression test. Significance levels were set at 5% and all statistics were applied through SPSS 23.0. Results: Shooting efficacy was not associated with the number of passes made per offense. Regression statistics showed that shooting efficacy was highly associated with shooting condition rather than the offense type performed. However, fast breaks seem to lead to better shooting conditions (passively guarded and wide open) when compared to set and regained offenses. Conclusion: Evidence pointed to the importance of shooting condition as a determining factor in increasing the probability of field goals made throughout the games analyzed.

RESUMOO objetivo desta pesquisa foi identificar as variáveis ofensivas individuais e coletivas mais relevantes na categoria adulta a partir do discurso de treinadores experientes, apontando possíveis relações com o processo de ensino-aprendizagemtreinamento em diferentes categorias. Foi realizada entrevista semiestruturada com quatro treinadores, procedendo-se à tabulação e à análise pelo método do Discurso do Sujeito Coletivo. Os treinadores relataram que, para atingir o alto rendimento, os jogadores devem apresentar bom domínio de elementos técnico-táticos individuais (finta e mudança de direção das trajetórias) e coletivos (cruzamento, bloqueio, troca de postos específicos, passa e vai e penetrações sucessivas), além da execução não estereotipada das ações ofensivas. Sugere-se, portanto, que os elementos apresentados pelos treinadores sejam apresentados paulatinamente aos jogadores, em especial a partir de jogos e situações de jogo. ABSTRACTThe aim of this work was to identify the individual and collective offensive variables most important in adult handball teams from experienced coaches' speeches, and to identify possible relationships with the teaching-learning-training process. Four experienced coaches were interviewed, and the speeches were tabulated and analyzed using the Collective Subject Discourse method. The coaches reported that to achieve high performance, players must have good command of individual technicaltactical elements (to junk and change of direction of the trajectories), collective technical-tactical elements (crosses, blocking, exchange of specific posts, give and go and successive penetrations) and the execution of offensive actions without stereotyping. It is suggested that the evidence adduced by the coaches must be presented gradually to the players, especially through games and game situations. Keywords: Sport pedagogy; Team sports. IntroduçãoO handebol é dotado de grande complexidade no seu cenário técnico-tático, provocada pelas mudanças nas tomadas de decisão dos jogadores 1,2 e configura um ambiente instável e incerto que apela fortemente às capacidades táticas relacionadas à tomada de decisão 3 . São determinantes nesse contexto as relações de cooperação e oposição, nas quais cada equipe deve coordenar suas ações para recuperar, conservar e transportar a bola até regiões apropriadas para a anotação dos pontos 4 . Garganta 4 destaca que a estruturação do espaço pelos atacantes deve pautar-se em pilares como a criação e a ocupação de espaços, que possibilitem um jogo em profundidade e em largura na quadra. O autor ainda destaca que aspectos como a comunicação na ação (com destaque para os desmarques e a busca por superioridade numérica) e a relação com a bola (na qual aponta o equilíbrio dos apoios e a importância das trajetórias) são imprescindíveis para o desenvolvimento do jogo.
