Perfil da aids em indivíduos acima de 50 anos na região amazônica

Abstract: O número de indivíduos acima de 50 anos no Brasil vem aumentando nos últimos anos, juntamente com a quantidade de casos de aids que atinge esta população. Esses indivíduos sofrem vários problemas sociais de familiares e dos profissionais da saúde após o diagnóstico da doença, pois estes ainda consideram o idoso um ser assexuado.
