Resumo: O direito à moradia constitui-se em elemento essencial para a realização do princípio da dignidade da pessoa humana e da qualidade plena de vida. É uma peça-chave na vida humana, pois proporciona a obtenção de outros direitos fundamentais e humanos. Este artigo expõe os aspectos essenciais da evolução do direito à moradia até a aquisição do seu adjetivo adequada. Demonstra quais são os elementos básicos do direito à moradia, à luz do Pacto Internacional de Direitos Econômicos, Sociais e Culturais (Pidesc), do Comentário n. 4 do Comitê da ONU, e os novos aspectos da sustentabilidade após os Objetivos de Desenvolvimento Sustentável (ODSs) de 2015 e a Nova Agenda Urbana, Habitat III. Is a key piece in human life, which provides obtaining of other fundamental rights and humans. This article exposes the essential aspects of the evolution of the right to housing, to the acquisition of the quality adequate. Demonstrates the basic elements of the right to housing in the light of the International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights (ICESCR), the commentary of paragraph 4 of the UN Committee, and, their new aspects of sustainability after the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) of 2015 and the new Global Agenda, Habitat III. To do so, deductive method was applied and bibliographical research done.
