Local ecological and taxonomic knowledge of snapper fish (Teleostei: Actinopterygii) held by fishermen in Ilhéus, Bahia, Brazil

Abstract: Local Ecological and Taxonomic Knowledge (LEK) of fish held by fishermen in the municipality of Ilhéus, Bahia, Brazil, known as the snapper ("vermelho") was examined from August 2005 to November 2006.
