Pediatric trauma due to motor vehicle accidents on high traffic roadway

Abstract: In this study, children were at significantly higher odds of being treated for trauma while on a highway with heavy traffic flow. The most common sites of injury in this sample were the lower extremities and the head, face, and neck complex.
