Animais em laboratórios e a lei Arouca

Abstract: Com surpresa algumas pessoas que estudam o tema da pesquisa científica com animais receberam a lei 11.794/08, aprovada no Senado e sancionada pelo presidente Lula para a experimentação animal, a chamada Lei Arouca. No texto não se reconhece quase nada das diretrizes internacionais que geralmente afirmam os famosos "três erres (3R)": replacement (substituição), reducement (redução) e refinement (refinamento), sugeridos ainda em 1959 por Russel e Burch e, desde então, um marco na reflexão ética sobre o tema.
