Data resulting from species inventories shed light on the richness and distribution of various groups. In Minas Gerais, work on inventory and distribution of the oligochaetes of lotic environments in preserved areas are non-existent. Therefore, this study aimed to inventory the limnic oligochaetes fauna of first-order streams located in four preserved areas, to expand knowledge of the ecology and distribution of this group. In total, 19 taxa were inventoried, belonging to the families Naididae and Enchytraeidae and the superorder Megadrili (earthworms), with the genus Pristina having the largest number of species. The number of species found in this investigation corresponds to 22% of oligochaetes species recorded in Brazilian aquatic environments. The results obtained add important knowledge of the distribution of some oligochaetes species in Brazil, represent the first records of species for the four preserved areas studied and confirm the first occurrence of various species in the state. Em Minas Gerais, trabalhos sobre inventário e distribuição de oligoquetas de ambientes lóticos em áreas preservadas são inexistentes. Dessa forma, este estudo objetivou inventariar a fauna de oligoquetas límnicos de córregos de primeira ordem localizados em quatro áreas preservadas, visando ampliar as informações sobre ecologia e distribuição deste grupo. Foram inventariados 19 taxa pertencentes às famílias Naididae, Enchytraeidae e à superordem Megadrili, sendo o gênero Pristina o de maior número de espécies. O número de espécies encontradas neste trabalho corresponde a 22% das espécies de oligoquetas registrados em ambientes aquáticos brasileiros. Os resultados obtidos ampliam o conhecimento sobre a distribuição de algumas espécies de oligoquetas no Brasil, representam os primeiros registros de espécies para as quatro áreas preservadas estudadas e confirmam a primeira ocorrência de várias espécies no Estado. Abstract:Oligochaeta is one of the most common and abundant taxon in continental aquatic fauna. However, knowledge of their distribution in Brazilian ecosystems is still incomplete and fragmented. Thus, the aim of this study was to develop an inventory of aquatic oligochaetes in the Extractive Reserve of Lake Cuniã in the State of Rondônia, Brazil. Collections of data were performed during the dry (August 2015) and rainy seasons (February 2016). The sediment samples were collected near the lakeside region using the kick sampling method and a kick-net sampler (mesh size of 0.25mm). This paper provides a catalog with 12 taxon from a total of 383 specimens, distributed into two families: Naididae (95.08%) and Opistocystidae (4.92%). The Pristininae subfamily was the most significant (85.68%), followed by subfamilies: Naidinae (8.36%), Tubificinae (0.52%) and Rhyacondrilinae (0.52%). In addition, some species such as Allonais inaequalis, Aulophorus furcatus, Dero nivea, Pristina synclites, Pristina menoni and Opistocysta serrata, were recorded for the first time in the Brazilian Amazon region. Therefore, the results of this study contribute to increase knowledge on the distribution of the Oligochaeta class in Brazil, particularly in the North of the country, which is so extensive and rich in water resources, but not extensively studied. Para os pantaneiros, a expressão "decoada" (antes grafada "dequada") sempre significou "queimada", incluindo as cinzas, a fuligem e suas conseqüências sobre as os corpos de água e vegetação, fazendo com que os peixes morram por causa disso. O vocábulo não possui similar na língua portuguesa "e deve ser definido como uma expressão idiomática que, longe de pretender definir um estado de coisas, é uma queixa, um protesto" (BERTELLI, 1984). O mesmo autor, erroneamente, define "dequada" como sendo "...as consequências deste ato insano que é a queimada em relação ao solo, com o aparecimento, antes da brota, de um número enorme de ervas tóxicas e daninhas". A expressão pode ter derivado de "água de diquada" que, para os moradores locais mais antigos e que ainda acreditam nessa idéia, significa "água de cinza" ou "água de cinza usada para fabricar sabão", fazendo-se referência às cinzas resultantes das queimadas em contato com os rios e lagoas do Pantanal.O fenômeno natural ocorre com freqüência, isto é, todos os anos, em maior ou menor grau e, embora seja conhecido localmente, ainda é pouco estudado com relação às implicações ecológicas (CALHEIROS et al., 1999). O efeito mais visível da "decoada" é a expressiva mortandade de peixes (Figuras 1 e 2), observável facilmente. Esta ocorre em grande escala, "a mortandade é estimada em milhares de toneladas de peixe" (Figura 3), o que pode representar um problema de ordem econômica para os ribeirinhos, uma vez que está diretamente ligada às atividades de pesca profissional (CALHEIROS et al., 1999). 5À exceção dos peixes (RESENDE & MOURÃO, 1987; RESENDE et al., 1990; PELLEGRIN et al., 1995; RESENDE, 1996;CALHEIROS & HAMILTON, 1998 (CALHEIROS et al., 1999). Como consequência, vários trabalhos foram publicados, auxiliando na elucidação e entendimento do evento (HAMILTON et al., 1995;HAMILTON et al., 1997;CALHEIROS & HAMILTON, 1998;CALHEIROS et al., 2000;CALHEIROS, 2003).Todos os anos o fenômeno de deterioração na qualidade da água ("decoada") é registrado e ocorre durante o período de enchente, quando o nível fluviométrico do rio Paraguai ultrapassa 3,5m, de acordo com a régua de Ladário-MS, localizada no 6º (ESTEVES, 1988). Além disso, possuem ciclos de vida relativamente curtos comparativamente aos dos peixes e, por isso, refletem mais rapidamente as modificações do ambiente através de mudanças na estrutura das populações e comunidades (GOULART & CALLISTO, 2003).Esta comunidade, caracterizada por habitar o sedimento aquático ou a superfície deste, tem sua distribuição controlada por vários fatores, dentre eles a disponibilidade e qualidade de alimento, tipo de sedimento, fluxo, substrato, temperatura, concentração de oxigênio e gás sulfídrico (ESTEVES, 1988). A flutuação temporal das populações de macroinvertebrados pode ocorrer em conseqüência de distúrbios físicos e químicos no local, reduzindo o tamanho das populações e abrindo novos espaços para colonização (REICE ,1985 apud TAKEDA et al., 1991.
