Abstract

Neotropical Entomology 36(6): 894-901 (2007) Last Instar Larva, Pupa and a New Distribution Record of Periploca otrebla Vargas (Lepidoptera:Cosmopterigidae)ABSTRACT -A description and fi gures of the last instar larva and pupa of Periploca otrebla Vargas are presented, based on specimens collected on Acacia macracantha (Fabaceae) in the type locality, Azapa valley, Arica Province, northern Chile. The Chaca valley, Arica Province, northern Chile, is mentioned as a new locality for the geographic distribution of P. otrebla, previously known only from the type locality.
