Abstract: A teoria econômica moderna foi além do "fundamentalismo do capital". Nas palavras de Hoff e Stiglitz (2001, p. 389), "o desenvolvimento não é mais visto primariamente como um processo de acúmulo de capital, mas antes como um processo de mudança organizacional".
