Intrusion in drinking water networks (DWN) can be triggered by transient low-pressure events. This intrusion may result in the contamination of drinking water supplied to consumers, which may have major health impacts. This research aims to investigate the influence of a DWN’s operating parameters on the intrusion and progression of the contaminant in a pilot drinking water network setup. Results show that the minimum time required for the contaminant to begin entering the system was influenced by the system operating pressure. Faster initial intrusion times were observed under low operating pressure. In addition, the crack size influenced the time required for the contaminant to fully intrude the system. Similarly, the time required for the contaminant to reach certain points in the DWN was influenced by the operating pressure. These results were verified using two additional tools; a high-speed camera was used to monitor the contaminant transient progression through the DWN under different pressures; and computational fluid dynamics modeling was used to calculate the corresponding contaminant concentration. The results suggest that the ability of the system to quickly stabilize its operating pressure would reduce the probability of a contaminant intrusion into the DWN.

The direction of research development in the realm of public sector budgets always pays attention to contemporary issues. Therefore, through research on public budgeting in the context of this village, it is hoped that it can support the realization of the direction of developing studies in the field of public policy and public administration. This study aims to produce a public budgeting model based on the basic service needs of rural communities in Banyumas Regency. This study aims to determine the direction of budget policies that support the increase in the level of public education. This article tries to explore the extent of the village government's commitment to human development issues through community empowerment and community development organized by the village government through the village budget. The research method uses a case study technique, in which the location of the research sample is selected by using area sampling technique. This article is expected to provide input to local and village governments regarding improving the quality of village budgeting. The results of this study provide an overview of the direction of policies undertaken by the village government and its relation to mapping the priority needs of the village community.

The biggest efforts to develop the community's economy is through the establishment of Bank Desa. The concept of Bank Desa, becomes the choice of the village government in providing village funds that have been given by the government to the village. The establishment of a bank desa is expected to provide solutions that are approved by the community. In developing a Bank Desa, the village government cannot carry out its functions optimally. Therefore the village government needs to provide part of its authority to the private sector as well as the general public to develop bank desa. Through Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes), most villages have given their authority to the managers of BUMDes or managers of Bank Desa. Thus the relationship between the village government and the private sector is certainly very important. The application of the Public Private Partnership principles is an important strategy in encouraging the development of bank desa. The pattern of collaboration that is built clearly and has legal certainty is an effective way of managing Bank Desa.
