Aspectos quantitativos e qualitativos do grão de trigo influenciados por nitrogênio e lâminas de água

Abstract: RESUMO, respectively for 120 mm and 50 kg ha -1 of N; and 392 mm and 200 kg ha -1 of N. In all of them, the highest yields were achieved by nitrogen doses over 220 kg ha -1 . Crude protein content was significantly affected by water and nitrogen level interaction. The hectoliter mass, the strength of gluten and the falling number were significantly affected by water level. Water depths lower than 365 mm provided hectoliter weight below 78 kg hL -1 . On the other hand water depths higher than 340 mm provided fa… Show more

“…In general, increasing N rates caused an increase in kernel protein and in flour gluten contents, as already described elsewhere (DUCSAY;LOŽEK, 2004;CAZETTA et al, 2008;BASSOI;FRANCESCHI et al, 2009;PENCKOWSKI et al, 2010;BOSCHINI et al, 2011;FOLONI, 2012). Although previously reported in the literature (CAZETTA et al, 2008;FRANCESCHI et al, 2009;PENCKOWSKI et al, 2010), an alveographic W value increase with higher N rates was not evident in the present study (Table 1).…”

“…In other studies were also found increases in wheat grain yield with nitrogen fertilization (ZAGONEL et al, 2002;BOSCHINI et al, 2011). However, it stands out in our study, that the wheat yield achieved in the plots without topdressing nitrogen fertilization was relatively high in order of 4500 kg ha -1 of grains.…”

“…The greatest range of values was found in Population 1 with a value of 74, and the smallest range was in Population 2 with 35 grains per ear (Table 1 and 2). In this study, it was observed that an increase in the number of grains per ear caused by increased nitrogen doses (Cazetta et al 2007, Boschini et al 2011.…”
