“…These data corroborate the findings in the literature, which indicated that the main motivations in related donation are, the fact that the subject is placed, potentially, as the savior of the life of a family member, as well as religious beliefs. Hence it is very difficult to sustain a refusal in such circumstances, despite the fear and ambivalence that mark the desire to donate bone marrow (14) .
