Abstract: The Faculty of Nursing at the Universidad Autónoma de Querétaro, Mexico started as a professional career in 1952, being a part of the university programs and offering the technical nursing career. Later, in 1986, the teacher training program in nursing initiated. In 1996, the University Council approved the project for a presential Masters Course in Nursing Science.
