Show more

“…The protein content difference among grains classified by 12 × 3/4" and 16 × 3/4" sieves was approximately 2%, which is a significant value for protein meal production for animal feeds. Oil content was not affected by the evaluated experimental factors, thus, it appears that this is a variable that is little affected by environmental conditions (DARDANELLI et al, 2006;GAO et al, 2009;MAEHLER et al, 2003). …”

“…However, Maehler et al (2003), when working with two soybean cultivars under two water regimes (irrigated and nonirrigated), found that the oil content of the grains was not changed. The summary of the variance analysis for phosphorus use efficiency in the crop for the characteristic of oil content, can be seen in Table 3.…”

“…Thomas and Costa (1994) reported that the number of grains per pod intrinsically attributes to the genotype. The formation of pods with viable ovules depends on the plant capacity for supplying the assimilated demand during the grain filling period (Maehler et al, 2003;Zimmer et al, 2016). In Independência -RS, the NTHREEGP for DGH, absence of direct responses on GY was observed (Table 3).…”
