Since years 90, the Brazilian air market suffered major changes, starting with the opening of the market and culminating with increasing competition in the airline market. These factors, coupled with the country's economic stability, and the ease to credit, generated a significant increase in demand in the last decade. Current infrastructure of airports could not keep up with the growing market, which led to the situation faced daily in Brazilian airports: crowded waiting rooms and constant delays in flights. Within this context, this work aims to evaluate the quality of services within Porto Alegre Airport/Salgado Filho. Quality function Deployment tool (QFD) is used as the main tool for evaluating the levels of quality. The requirements have been identified and prioritized with the application of market research, and subsequently analyzed by the statistical tool Principal Component Analysis (PCA). The result was the construction of a survey instrument to assess airports, statistically valid, and a methodology to weave strategic guidelines for implementation of improvements. 

In the industries across the petroleum chain and those involved in energy generation, the use of petroderivatives as fuel oils is common. To clean parts, equipment and environments contaminated by hydrocarbons, they use expensive, toxic products, bringing risks to the environment as well as to workers’ health. Thus, the aim of this study was to check the stability of a biodetergent prepared using atoxic substances for large-scale production and industrial energy sector application. The relationship between volume (4 to 10 L) and stirring time (5 to 10 min) of the formulation at 3200 rpm and 80 °C was evaluated. The hydrophilic lipophilic balance (HLB), long-term stability (365 days), toxicity and efficiency of low-sulfur, viscous fuel oil removal from metal pieces and floors were investigated. The interaction among operating conditions was shown to influence the features of the product, which achieved approximately 100% stability after a stirring time of 7 min. The emulsion HBL index varied between 4.3 and 11.0. The biodetergent maintained its physicochemical properties during its 365 days of storage and showed high efficiency, removing 100% of the OCB1 impregnated on the metallic surfaces and floors tested. The formulation showed reliability in scale up when submitted to the study of physicochemical factors in the productive process, and safe application, by reducing risks for workers’ health and environment.

O Processo de Desenvolvimento de Produto (PDP) é fundamental para a estratégia de empresas se manterem no mercado, e o Desdobramento da Função Qualidade (QFD) é um método que reúne características desejadas pelos clientes e disponibilidades técnicas pela empresa para desenvolver e aprimorar a qualidade do produto e/ou serviço, visando à percepção do cliente e produtos com qualidade e aceitação do público. O presente estudo objetivou verificar as publicações e a atualidade da temática sobre o Desdobramento da Função Qualidade na Gestão de Desenvolvimento de Produtos. Como metodologia de pesquisa, foram empregadas técnicas de revisão sistemática de literatura e das leis da bibliometria de Zipf, Lotka e Bradfort. As análises de resultados foram, após as consultas, as bases de dados científicas, Spell, Scielo e EBSCO, sendo considerados 35 artigos relevantes para esta pesquisa, compreendendo o período de 1996 até 2022 e distribuídos em 19 periódicos e universo de 133 autores. Como considerações importantes, esta pesquisa observou baixo volume de artigos focados na prática e nos resultados do QFD em detrimento de artigos focados nas características e implementação do método, podendo servir de base para prospecção de novos estudos e podendo inspirar pesquisas futuras.
