Abstract: JUSTIFICATIVA E OBJETIVOS: A transfusão de concentrado de hemácias (CHA) é muito freqüente no centro de tratamento intensivo (CTI), mas as conseqüências da anemia nos pacientes gravemente enfermos ainda são obscuras.
