Um decreto presidencial de 2001 e os Planos de Recursos Hídricos das bacias dos rios São Francisco e Velhas introduziram critérios e conceitos inovadores na definição de propostas para a recuperação hidroambiental de bacias hidrográficas. “…These studies are being complemented (or partly repeated) by a nationwide program to monitor the Brazilian biomes on an annual basis, which has been set up in 2015 by a group of NGOs, universities, and companies.
