The paper presents a correlation between the parameters of classical TRIZ and variables of analysis of the EWA to construct a matrix of contradictions in ergonomics, with the objective of assisting the designing processes in the Brazilian agricultural sector. Given the representativeness of the sector in the economy, the boundary conditions in which the activities are developed and their impact on the health of workers, this proposal should contribute to the development of adaptable solutions and the promotion of Decent Work.

Resumo E ste artigo parte da percepção de que houve um fortalecimento da questão social, em especial da inclusão social, no Governo Lula. Seu objetivo é analisar em que medida a Política Científi ca e Tecnológica incorporou modifi cações e/ou preocupações semelhantes em sua agenda. Para tanto, apresentamos a trajetória dessa política, destacando o período mais recente. Ao analisar documentos ofi ciais e bibliografi as especializadas, constatamos que a criação da Secretaria Nacional de Ciência e Tecnologia para a Inclusão Social deve ser reconhecida como o surgimento de um novo espaço de disputa, ainda que assimétrica e frágil, no qual os atores antes excluídos do processo de conformação da agenda da PCT podem agora tomar parte. Science and Technology Policy and Demands for Social Inclusion in the LulaAdministration (2003)(2004)(2005)(2006) Abstract T his paper is based on the perception that there has been increasing concern towards social issues in Brazil, particularly that of social inclusion, during the Lula Administration. The main objective of this paper is to analyze to what degree the agenda of science and technology policy has incorporated similar changes or concerns. We therefore explore the trajectory of this policy, in particular the more recent period. Based on the study of offi cial documents and specialized references, we note that the creation of the National Secretary of Science and Technology for Social Inclusion should be recognized as the emergence of a new fi eld for political struggle, albeit still asymmetrical and frail, in which previously excluded actors may now take part in the agenda setting.

The parameters that distinguish specialty coffees have to do with economic, social and environmental sustainability of their production in the sense of fostering greater fairness in the relations among the links in the supply chain. However, very little research has been done and very few guidelines have been constructed that would indicate how to adopt Sustainable Supply Chain Management practices and how to proceed. In this context, this research aims to identify guidelines capable of describing the sustainable supply chain of specialty coffee production on small farms in Brazil. The specialty coffees studied in the present research are of high quality rated above the minimum for exportation. It was also observed that farmers have managed two important things: developed relations of fidelity with trading companies so they can accompany the production; and organized themselves and disseminated costs, strengthened cultural patterns and positioned themselves better in the market.
