Estudo in vitro de sistemas bioadesivos para liberação sustentada de fluoreto

Abstract: Por meio de tecnologia adequada, foi possível desenvolver, com material polimérico à base de celulose e derivado do ácido poliacrílico, dispositivos de liberação sustentada do íon fluoreto para aplicação intrabucal. O princípio ativo usado foi o fluoreto de sódio, e os dispositivos foram preparados por compressão ou por revestimento de um núcleo, o que lhes promoveu bioadesividade e dimensões adequadas.
