Discute as possibilidades de construções militantes na atualidade a partir do conceito de modernidade líquida, que nos auxilia na compreensão das possibilidades de ser e estar no mundo, e da idéia de invenção, que busca a desconstrução das evidências do senso comum, deixando de entender os objetos de estudo como naturais ou permanentes, compreendendo-os como transitórios e construídos. Buscamos, assim, produzir este estranhamento com a questão da militância para que os olhares e as perspectivas de sua compreensão da militância sejam ampliados para além de estereótipos e pré-conceitos. INVENTING THE OPPOSING-SPRING THAT RESISTS: A STUDY ON THE SPIRIT OF MILITANCY IN CONTEMPORANEITYABSTRACT: This paper aims at querying the spirit of militancy in contemporaneity, studying interviews performed with several social movement activists. It discusses the possibilities of militant activity development in present times, after the concept of liquid modernity, which will help us to comprehend the possibilities of being and belonging in the world; and the idea of invention, that seeks to deconstruct the evidences of common sense, abandoning the understanding that the objects of research are natural or permanent, understanding them as ephemeral and in construction. Thus, we seek to produce this estrangement with the matter of militancy so that the views and perspectives of its comprehension may be enhanced far beyond the stereotypes and preconceptions. KEYWORDS: The spirit of militancy, social movements and subjectivity, liquid modernity. O surgimento das Organizações Não-Governamentais (ONGs), o incremento das ações do terceiro setor, a omissão cada vez mais extrema do Estado nas questões mais básicas do cotidiano dos cidadãos e, principalmente, o fato de ainda ouvirmos muito falar em militância, fez com que nos questionássemos sobre o que é ser militante hoje. Para potencializar essa discussão, não procuramos, neste artigo, definir um conceito de militância. Nosso objetivo é tomar distância de nosso objeto, qual seja, a militância, para que possamos estranhá-lo e trabalhá-lo como um operador que produz um deslocamento e uma desestabilização. Esperamos, com isso, contribuir para as reflexões sobre as atuais possibilidades de participações militantes, compreendidas a partir do olhar da psicologia social.Procuramos traçar nessa discussão uma cartografia que não se propõe a buscar uma verdade sobre a questão estudada, mas problematizá-la, colocá-la em análise, tomá-la como uma questão em aberto, que está em constante mutação. “…Rural sociability, in turn, includes elements of the shared field to which they refer, mainly to social interaction and to the social values related to the community context (Baltazar, 2004;Bonomo & Souza, 2010;Moreira, 2005), associating to the description of the rural way of life (factor 1) and the positive image of being rural (factor 2), as well as those who emphasize the agricultural and community dimensions (cluster 1 and cluster 3 -psychological anchoring) of rural life. According to the analysis of the psychosocial anchoring processes, people who present community and personal values (cluster 1 and cluster 3) and those who see the rural as a space of sustainability and sociability (cluster 3 and cluster 1) contribute to the development of this image.…”

Social Representations and Rural Sociability Among Farmers of a Rural Community

Guided by the Social Representation Theory, this study aims at investigating rural social representations among farmers in State of Espírito Santo -Brazil by analyzing the semantic field associated to the representational object "rural person"; the organizational principles of individual attitude in face of shared content; and the anchoring processes. Two hundred (200) residents, aged between 7 and 81, belonging to four generations of a rural community participated in individual interviews in this study. The results analyzed using software SPAD-T showed that rural sociability is represented from the positive association to the agricultural and community spheres, as well as from the negative comparison between country and city life, which causes feeling of depreciation and critical evaluation about the poor investments in rural areas. It also identified that personal and community values strengthen the positive image of rural identity, showing strategies to maintain the country way of life among different generations in this community. Keywords: rural identity; social representation; rurality; sociability Representações Sociais e Sociabilidade Rural entre Camponeses de uma Comunidade Rural ResumoOrientado pela Teoria das Representações Sociais, o estudo teve como objetivo investigar as representações sociais de ruralidade entre camponeses do estado do Espírito Santo, através da análise do campo semântico associado ao objeto representacional "pessoas do meio rural", dos princípios organizadores dos posicionamentos individuais frente ao conteúdo compartilhado e dos processos de ancoragem. Por meio de entrevistas individuais, participaram do estudo 200 moradores de quatro gerações de uma comunidade rural, com idades entre 07 e 81 anos. Os resultados, analisados com auxílio do software SPAD-T, indicaram que a sociabilidade rural é representada a partir da associação positiva às esferas agrícola e comunitária, bem como da comparação negativa entre campo-cidade, esta gerando sentimento de desvalorização e avaliação crítica sobre a falta de investimento na zona rural. Identificou-se ainda que valores pessoais e comunitários atuam reforçando a imagem positiva da identidade rural, evidenciando estratégias de manutenção do modo de vida camponês entre as diferentes gerações da comunidade. Objective:To analyze the history of the life and activism of Portuguese nurse Maria Augusta Sousa. Method: Sousa's life story was obtained by means of semi-structured interviews with Sousa as the oral source of data. N Vivo qualitative research software was used for data analysis. Content analysis focused on thematic analysis based on the theoretical and philosophical ideas of Michel Foucault, in particular, power and techniques of the self. Results: Alienation and political participation were revealed as pertinent issues. In techniques of production of activist subjects, the following were highlighted: the importance of the review of formal education; actions of involvement with the world, society and the profession; and finally, techniques of the self, techniques of constitution of activist subjects, professional identity and way of being. Conclusion: The constitution of the nurse Maria Augusta Sousa as an activist came about through questioning of how to be, education in the context of her family, and political engagement in Catholic Youth. This impacted her trajectory of contributions to Portuguese nursing, as expressed in the following achievements: the integration of nursing training into higher education; the creation of the Regulation of Nurses Professional Practice; and implementation of the Order of Nurses.
