Uso de medicamentos entre idosos residentes em áreas urbanas e rurais de município no Sul do Brasil: um estudo de base populacional

Abstract: O objetivo foi verificar a prevalência de uso de medicamentos e de polifarmácia entre idosos de Carlos Barbosa, Rio Grande do Sul, Brasil, e comparar as características sociodemográficas e de saúde associadas ao uso, segundo o local de moradia. Foi avaliada uma amostra aleatória de 811 idosos com 60 anos ou mais, moradores na área urbana ou rural.
