Impacto de um programa de atualização em alimentação infantil em unidades de saúde na prática do aleitamento materno e na ocorrência de morbidade

Abstract: O objetivo deste estudo foi avaliar o impacto de um programa de atualização em alimentação infantil na prática do aleitamento materno exclusivo (AME), ocorrência de diarreia e de sintomas de morbidade respiratória. Ensaio de campo randomizado por conglomerados foi conduzido na cidade de Porto Alegre, Rio Grande do Sul, Brasil, com vinte unidades básicas de saúde (UBS).
