Malária no Estado do Amapá, Brasil, de 1970 a 2003: trajetória e controle

Abstract: O presente estudo tem por objetivo dimensionar a ocorrência de malária no Estado do Amapá, Brasil, no período de 1970 a 2003. Com dados de lâminas positivas, obtidos junto a agências de informações em saúde, foi construída uma série temporal de índice parasitário anual (IPA), por mil habitantes, considerando as informações de população obtidas junto ao Instituto Brasileiro de Geografia e Estatística.
