“…Based on the dynamics of the sector and the many stress factors present, there is a possibility that the professional may become involved in violent situations, which implies the risk of suffering verbal and/or physical aggression that will further harm the performance, safety and well-being of the worker, as well as his physical and psychological integrity. The main consequence of workplace violence on the health of the worker (16) is emotional symptoms, such as anger, sadness, irritation, anxiety and humiliation.
