“…Such response depends, besides the cultivar health, on the amount of organic matter in the soil, on soil type, as well as on the methods and times of application of the nutrient doses used. Therefore, Resende et al (2000), Lima et al (2008), and Backes et al (2008) verified an increasing quadratic behavior for total bulb yield, using doses up to 234 kg ha -1 , 150 kg ha -1 , and 268 kg ha -1 N, respectively.
