The Tocantins 2007 Expedition of the Project “Aracnídeos e Miriápodes da Mata Atlântica” (AMMA) produced many new records of arachnids and centipedes, with 61 morphotypes identified. Among the results are: OPILIONES: 30 morphotypes with six new records of families and one of subfamily from Tocantins state; discovery of two undescribed species of Roquettea Mello-Leitão, 1931; Saramacia alvarengai Kury, 1997 is newly considered a junior subjective synonym of Saramacia annulata (Mello-Leitão, 1931); Brotasus Roewer, 1928 is transferred to Escadabiidae; the gonyleptid genera Parapachyloides Roewer, 1913 and Schubartesia B. Soares, 1944 are transferred to Gonyleptinae; SCHIZOMIDA: one species, new record of the order from Tocantins and from the Cerrado biome; SCORPIONES: seven species, one of them new record from Tocantins and two morphotypes; Chilopoda: 19 morphotypes, SCUTIGEROMORPHA: a widespread species Sphendononema guildingii (Newport, 1845) and another morphotype; GEOPHILOMORPHA: one morphotype; SCOLOPENDROMORPHA: 16 morphotypes, seven of them new records.

A check list of the Araneae type specimens deposited in the Museu Nacional, Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro, is given, including also all the type specimens of species described by Mello-Leitão without a clear repository. From a total of 923 type lots (which comprises 813 valid species names) cited in the list, 667 are available, 239 were not located (76 of them with uncertain repositories) and 17 are lost. The spelling of Olios hieroglyphicus Mello-Leitão, 1919 is fixed by action of first reviser. Based on the comparison of these type specimens, the following taxonomic changes are proposed on this paper: Actinopodidae: Actinopus ceciliae Mello-Leitão, 1931c = A. crassipes (Keyserling, 1891) n. syn.; Theraphosidae: Cyclosternum melloleitaoi Bücherl, Timotheo da Costa & Lucas, 1971 = Hapalopus nondescriptus Mello-Leitão, 1926b n. syn.; Anyphaenidae: Aysha garruchos Brescovit, 1992 = Aysha caxambuensis (Mello-Leitão, 1926a) (originally described as Teudis c.) n. syn., n. comb.; Sillus spinifrons Mello-Leitão, 1926a = Patrera longipes (Keyserling, 1891) n. syn.; Araneidae: Wagneriana janeiro Levi, 1991 = Wagneriana dimastophora (Mello-Leitão, 1940g) (originally described as Verrucosa d.) n. syn., n. comb.; Pholcidae: Pholcophora juruensis Mello-Leitão, 1922c = Physocyclus globosus (Taczanowski, 1874) n. syn.

Tenedos O. Pickard-Cambridge, 1897, is the most diverse arrangement of Neotropical zodariids. The genus is composed by several species group, which only the barronus group is formally recognized. However, several groups remain uncharacterized despite being easily distinguishable by the distinctive sexual morphology. We formally proposed a second species group in Tenedos, the trilobatus group, including the known species Tenedos trilobatus Jocqué & Baert, 2002 from Colombia and T. figaro Jocqué & Baert, 2002 from Ecuador, whose type specimens are redescribed herein. Seven new species of the trilobatus group from Colombia are proposed based on both sexes: T. anchicaya sp. n. (♂♀), T. chiribiquete sp. n. (♂♀), T. cumbre sp. n. (♂♀), T. gabi sp. n. (♂♀), T. quimbaya sp. n. (♂♀), T. huila sp. n. (♂♀), T. valle sp. n. (♂♀). New data on the distribution range of Tenedos trilobatus in Colombia are included. We further provide distribution maps and an identification key for all species of the group. Morphological remarks of the new group and a comparison of it with the barronus group are included.
