Abstract: RESUMO:Neste texto, examinamos as condições sociais e semióti-cas em que a escrita se faz presente no cotidiano de uma turma da educação infantil de uma escola pública em Belo Horizonte, por meio da análise de eventos interacionais e de letramento identificados nesse contexto.
