-Herbicides aminocyclopyrachlor and indaziflam are under development in Brazil. Information about the behaviors in Brazilian soils and climate is scarce. Thus, the present work has aimed to evaluate the persistence of biological activity and leaching potential of aminocyclopyrachlor and indaziflam in contrasting textured soils by means of bioassays. For the evaluation of persistence, four experiments were performed, in which soils with different textures were studied in different time periods between herbicide application and bioindicator sowing (beet and soybeans). To determine leaching potential, three blades of rainfall (0, 30 and 60 mm) were simulated, each constituting a single experiment in soils with different textures and five bands of depth in the columns. The bioindicator used for the leaching tests was beet. The persistence of biological activity of aminocyclopyrachlor and indaziflam was greater than 150 days. In clayey soil there was less persistent aminocyclopyrachlor than in the loam texture. For indaziflam there was no difference in persistence between the two soils. Regarding the leaching potential, it was observed that the precipitations have the capacity to interfere with the leaching of herbicides aminocyclopyrachlor and indaziflam. Aminocyclopyrachlor has greater potential for leaching than indaziflam. The first one has its mobility increased when applied to soil of loam texture in relation to very clayey soil. As for indaziflam, marked differences between soils with different textures have not been noticed.Keywords: residual activity, bioassay, organic matter. Informações a respeito do comportamento deles em condições edafoclimáticas brasileiras são escassas. The present study evaluate the effects of vinasse and filter cake on the efficacy of indaziflam, saflufenacil, and sulfentrazone for the control of morning glory (Ipomoea triloba L.) and crabgrass (Digitaria horizontalis Wiild), as well as the effects of these byproducts on the emergence of these weeds. The experiments were established in a greenhouse with a completely randomized design and four replications at the Agricultural Science Center, Sao Paulo, Brazil, between May 2017 and May 2018. In the first assay, four herbicide doses: indaziflam (0, 37.5, 75, and 150 g ai ha-1), saflufenacil (0, 42, 84, and 168 g a.i ha-1), and sulfentrazone (0, 300, 600, and 1200 g ai ha-1) were applied for pre-emergent weeds in three soil covers (without byproduct, with vinasse, and with filter cake).In the second assay, seven treatments were evaluated, comparing the effects of the different vinasse and filter cake doses, and absence of byproduct on the weeds emergence. When the doses required for 80% effective control were considered, the results showed that for indaziflam, the filter cake negatively affected crabgrass control. In contrast, vinasse had a positive effect on morning glory control by saflufenacil. For sulfentrazone, the filter cake had a negative effect, requiring twice the dose used on the treatment without byproduct for effective morning glory control. Relative to assay 2, the vinasse addition affected the emergence of morning glory but not of crabgrass; however, the filter cake increased the weed biomass accumulation. Vinasse and filter cake byproducts can negatively or positively affect the performance of pre-emergence herbicides, according to the active ingredient used. However, these effects occur at doses below those recommended for the herbicides. Byproducts can affect the emergence and the weed biomass accumulation.

O controle de planta daninhas é um trato cultural essencial para o desenvolvimento adequado das bananeiras, entretanto, existem poucas opções de herbicidas registrados para a cultura. A partir deste contexto, o objetivo deste trabalho foi avaliar a seletividade e a eficiência do novo herbicida indaziflam em pré-emergência das plantas daninhas quando aplicado em jato dirigido às entrelinhas da cultura da banana, visando ao controle de Conyza bonariensis, Digitaria horizontalis e Cenchrus echinatus. O experimento foi realizado a campo no delineamento em blocos ao acaso, avaliando-se sete tratamentos com quatro repetições. Os tratamentos foram constituídos pelo indaziflam aplicado em pré-emergência nas doses de 50, 75, 100 e 125 g ha-1 i.a; pelo glyphosate aplicado em pós-emergência (1920 g ha-1 e.a); além de uma testemunha absoluta (sem capina e sem herbicida) e de uma testemunha capinada. O indaziflam nas doses de 75, 100 e 125 g ha-1 i.a proporcionou excelente controle de todas as plantas daninhas presentes por um período de 120 dias após a aplicação. Todas as doses de indaziflam aplicadas em pré-emergência das plantas daninhas na entrelinha da cultura da banana foram seletivas, não havendo nenhum sintoma de injúria visual ou efeito negativo na produtividade, o que indica que este novo herbicida apresenta potencial de utilização nesta cultura.
