Abstract

Para tal, ut il izaram -se como materiais, amostras do solo da rizosfera e raízes das plantas daninhas. Foram identificad as 11 espé cie s de nematóides de intere ss e agr íc ola , pe rt enc ent es a se te dif ere nt es gêneros, em 19 espécies daninhas.Palavras-chave: Hospedeiros de nematóides, n e m a tó i d e s p a ra s i to s d e plantas daninhas. SUMMARY NEMATODES ASSOCIATED WITH WEEDS IN THE REGION OF JABOTICABALThis paper deals with the associations between plant parasitic nematodes and weeds at the region of Jaboticabal, Sao Paulo State, Brazil . Nineteen wee d spe cies were included in the survey. Soil c ollected at the rhizosphere zone and roo ts of weeds constituted the samples for nematological study. Eleven nematode spe cies were identified on the wee ds, belonging to seven different genera, namely Helicotylenchus, Macroposthonia, Meloidogyne, Paratrichodorus, Pratylenchus, Rotylenchulus, and Xiphinema.
