Efeito da pentoxifilina sobre a motilidade e concentração In Vitro dos espermatozóides humanos em indivíduos inférteis com oligoastenozoospermia e astenozoospermia

Abstract: As pacientes com carcinoma avançado apresentam uma diminuição da atividade citotóxica das células NK. As modificações nos parâmetros da imunidade não foram ainda estudadas em pacientes submetidas à quimioterapia (QT). Neste trabalho foram incluídas 24 pacientes com carcinoma avançado do colo do útero, submetidas a quimioterapia neoadjuvante. “…The selection of living spermatozoa for ICSI from frozen-thawed samples of NOA patients is very time consuming, difficult and sometimes impossible (Griveau et al, 2006). Pentoxifylline (PTX), a phosphodiesterase inhibitor, increases c-AMP levels and protein kinase A activity, and can increase sperm motility (Manetta, 1998).
