Aspectos morfológicos da utilização intraperitoneal de prótese de dupla face na inguinoplastia em cães

Abstract

The double-sided prostheses in its parietal side adds the advantages of the incorporation's potential to the noticed material with PPL to the biocompatibility from the latex in its visceral side. The little distance between the PPL disc and the edge of the double-sided prostheses (2 cm) allied to its sticking with just five staples is not enough to avoid gaps, through which the epíploon migrated towards to the inflammatory process provoked by PPL in the parietal side.

Todavia, no mesmo estudo o autor cita que Andrade et al (2009), houve uma avaliação macroscopicamente e microscopicamente sobre o comportamento de uma prótese de dupla face (látex biomembrana / polipropileno líquido), utilizando como controlar uma rede de polipropileno fixa na região inguinal contralateral e pode-se observar que a prótese de dupla face possui vantagens em relação ao polipropileno, em termos da prevalência e grau de aderência com o epiplon 33 , além da vantagem adicional da incorporação potencial no tecido observadas com polipropileno e da biocompatibilidade de látex.…”

“…O único resultado observado nesta revisão integrativa, que não recomenda o uso isolado da BML foi o de Souza (2011), que faz análises morfológicas na região inguinal e que ressalta ainda hoje não ter uma prótese ideal para esta região. Porém, neste mesmo estudo, observa Souza, que em Andrade et al (2009) há evidências mais favoráveis com próteses de BML e polipropileno na qual vêm demostrando melhores resultados e maiores vantagens.…”
