Estudo químico de uma amostra de própolis verde de Passa Quatro, Minas Gerais, Brasil

Abstract: , Brazil, where nine constituents were isolated: a mixture of α-and β-amyrin, lupeol, a mixture of flavonols ramnocitrin and eupalitin, acacetin, 3-prenyl-4-hydroxycinnamic acid, 3,5-diprenyl-4-hydroxycinnamic acid the new compound, the (E)-3-[4-(3-phenylpropanoiloxy)]-3,5-diprenil-cinnamic acid. The structures of the isolated compounds were characterized by 1D-and 2D-NMR experiments, MS and IR spectrometry, and comparison with data described in the literature. Keywords: propolis; (E)-3-[4-(3-phenylpropanoiloxy… Show more

“…According to MANRIQUE;SANTANA (2008), propolis produced by the species T. angustula, also known as Jataí propolis, has a low concentration of flavonoids. A study by TAVARES et al (2010) has demonstrated that green propolis has flavonoids, whereas according to NUNES et al (2009) red propolis is composed of several phenolic compounds, flavonoids, anthraquinones and phenols. VYNOGRAD et al (2000) showed that the antiviral activity of propolis against genital herpesvirus (HSV) was attributed to flavonoids.…”

“…Taking into account the pharmacological potential of extracts and EOs extracted from samples of propolis found all over the world [11][12] and, mainly, from samples of EOs and compounds found in Brazilian green propolis [13][14][15][16], this study aimed at determining the chemical composition and in vitro antioxidant, anti-Helicobacter pylori, antimycobacterial and antiproliferative activities of EO from Brazilian green propolis (BGP-EO) found in São Lourenço, a city located in the south of Minas Gerais (MG) state, Brazil.…”
