Show more

“…In regards to aerial part fresh weight, root fresh weight, aerial part dry weight and root dry weight, there was no significant difference in regards to the tested treatment. Pelizza et al (2013), in an experiment with ex vitro mulberry rooting observed that an increase in IBA dosages led to an increase in fresh weight.…”

“…We believe that these results are related to the genotype physiological condition, since, under the same conditions, the Xavante cultivar showed no significant differences for the same testes variable. According to Pelizza et al (2013), there was a quadratic answer for the number of roots mean, in which the maximum efficiency point was obtained with the use of 320 mg.L -1 of IAB, producing 6.1 roots per seedling, for the ex vitro rooting of the Xavante blackberry seedlings.…”

“…Callus formation was not observed in any ex vitro plant as observed with blackberry after five minutes of immersion and ex vitro rooting (Pelizza et al, 2013). The callus formation reached 58.3% in vitro with IBA diluted in ethanol (Tab.…”

“…The rooting of microcuttings can either be performed in vitro, as is already widely used (Deng and Donnelly, 1993) or ex vitro during acclimatization, directly on the substrate (Jin et al, 1992;Augusto et al, 2006) or in float hydroculture (Clapa et al, 2013). Ex vitro rooting offers the advantage of reducing difficulties related to survival and development of plants cultivated in vitro (Augusto et al, 2006;Pelizza et al, 2013) and also reduces costs.…”
