Distribuição do sistema radicular de cafeeiro conilon irrigado e não irrigado

Abstract: Resumo -O objetivo deste trabalho foi avaliar a distribuição do sistema radicular do cafeeiro conilon (Coffea canephora) irrigado e não irrigado. Show more

“…In opposition to the findings in this work about the distance from the plant, Covre et al (2015) observed a reduction of the surface area as the distance from the tree increases for Conilon coffee, chiefly in the region of the between line and as the depth increased.…”

“…Conilon coffee plantations have been increased in areas where water scarcity is the primary constraint on agricultural production (Araujo et al, 2011;Partelli et al, 2013;Silva et al, 2010), where irrigation is thus required (Covre et al, 2015). Among the most-commonly used irrigation systems in coffee cultivation in the northern region of Espírito Santo State, localized systems (drip irrigation, micro sprayers and micro sprinklers) and sprinkler systems (central-pivot, conventional-irrigation and fixed-head) stand out (Bonomo et al, 2014).…”

“…This fact was triggered by the increased availability of water and nutrients provided through fertigation concentrated on one side of the line. Similar results were obtained by Covre et al (2015), who worked with Coffea canephora fertigation and discovered that the roots were closer to the drip irrigation line.…”

“…Washing was carried out under running water using a 30-mesh sieve. The roots collected by the 30-mesh sieve were transferred to another of 60-mesh sieve and again washed in running water (Partelli et al, 2006(Partelli et al, , 2014Covre et al, 2015).…”

“…For root system analysis, roots smaller than 1 mm in diameter were used, and the data were estimated per cubic centimeter of soil (Partelli et al, 2014;Covre et al, 2015).…”
