Show more

“…The good results found in the correlation of the values of the measured and estimated humidity were not found in the studies with climatic data by Castro et al (2010) and of Cecílio et al (2012). This distinct result for the interpolation of climatic data that subsidizes the Climatological Water Balance by IQD may be related to the choice of the best power for the method, whose authors varied the power in unit value up to 4, while the current study varied from decimal form until the power 25.…”

“…According to Cecílio et al (2012), there is a tendency to occur the highest values of ETR in the vicinity of the coast, with a consequent reduction towards the west of the state, which indicates marked influence of the longitude, the ocean and, mainly, the relief. The errors of ETR and DEF, EXC and ETR/ETP were higher in the region near the coast, in Lower Doce (ES) and part of theg Doce (MG).…”

“…Green WF was spatially calculated for the entire state, in 1 x 1-km pixels, based on the Climatic Water Balance (CWB), using the method of THORNTHWAITE & MATHER (1955), from which the actual crop evapotranspiration (ETR) was obtained using control rainfall and evapotranspiration data (ET 0 ). The elements of CWB were spatially calculated following an adaptation of the methodology presented in CECÍLIO et al (2012). The description of the data used and the calculation procedures performed are described below.…”
