ABSTRACT:There is an increasing demand for detailed maps that represent in a simplified way the knowledge of the variability of a particular area or region maps. The objective was to outline precision boundaries among areas with different accuracy variability standards using magnetic susceptibility and geomorphic surfaces. The study was conducted in an area of 110 ha, which identified three compartment landscapes based on the geomorphic surfaces model. To determinate pH, organic matter, phosphorus, potassium and magnesium, the total sand and clay, 514 soil samples were collected at depths of 0-0.20 m and 0.60-0.80 m. The sum of base, cationic exchange capacity and base saturation were calculated and the magnetic susceptibility was evaluated in the laboratory using a system based on a balance of analytical precision method. Geomorphic surfaces identification allowed setting specific management areas (locations with maximum homogeneity of soil attributes). The map of spatial variability of magnetic susceptibility can be used to validate the precise boundaries among geomorphic surfaces identified in the field and infer the variability of clay content and soil base saturation.KEYWORDS: detailed mapping, pedometrics, accuracy boundaries. DELINEAMENTO DE LIMITES DE PRECISÃO ENTRE ÁREAS COM DIFERETES PADRÕES DE VARIABILIDADE UTILIZANDO SUSCETIBILIDADE MAGNÉTICA E SUPERFÍCIES GEOMÓRFICASRESUMO: Existe uma demanda cada vez maior por mapas detalhados que representem de maneira simplificada o conhecimento da variabilidade de determinada área ou região. O objetivo do trabalho foi delinear limites de precisão entre áreas com diferentes padrões de variabilidade utilizando suscetibilidade magnética e superfícies geomórficas. O trabalho foi realizado em uma área de 110 ha, onde se identificaram três compartimentos de paisagem com base no modelo de superfícies geomórficas. Foram coletadas 514 amostras de solo nas profundidades de 0-0,20 m e 0,60-0,80 m, para a determinação de pH, matéria orgânica, fósforo, potássio e magnésio, areia total e argila. A soma de base, capacidade de troca catiônica e saturação por bases foram calculadas. A suscetibilidade magnética foi avaliada em laboratório, utilizando-se de um método baseado em uma balança de precisão analítica. A identificação das superfícies geomórficas permitiu o reconhecimento de áreas específicas de manejo (locais com máxima homogeneidade dos atributos do solo). O mapa de variabilidade espacial da suscetibilidade magnética pode ser utilizado para validar com precisão os limites entre as superfícies geomórficas identificadas no campo e inferir a variabilidade do teor de argila e saturação por base do solo.

Resumo: A configuração da paisagem favorece o entendimento do comportamento dos atributos texturais, sendo influenciada em menor escala pelos segmentos de vertente, pois a migração de sedimentos, água e nutrientes obedecem aos processos geológicos superficiais e ao intemperismo. Diante disso, objetivou-se com esse trabalho caracterizar a variabilidade espacial da textura em uma área irrigada por pivô central em diferentes posições na paisagem da região de Cristalina-GO. Foram realizadas amostragens do solo em intervalos regulares de 10 m, em forma de malha, totalizando 180 pontos, em diferentes posições da paisagem. As amostras foram coletadas s nas profundidades de 0,00-0,10 m, 0,10-0,20 m e 0,20-0,30 m para a determinação dos teores de argila, silte e areia. Os dados foram submetidos à análise estatística descritiva, geoestatística e interpolação por krigagem. Os resultados demonstram que a migração de partículas seguiu o fluxo de água na vertente causando o transporte seletivo de sedimento, o que implica em maior erosão de sedimentos, água e nutrientes. As formas da vertente condicionaram o movimento e a concentração das partículas do solo. A migração de argila para camadas subsuperficiais do solo é relacionada com a gênese do solo e ao carreamento de partículas pela água. Palavras-chave: Erosão. Física do Solo. Abstract:The landscape configuration favors the understanding of the behavior of textural attributes being influenced to a lesser extent by the strand segments because the migration of sediments, water and nutrients meet the surface geological processes and to weathering. This study aim to characterize the spatial variability of texture in an irrigated area by center pivot in different positions in the landscape in the Crystalline, state GO region. Soil samples were taken at regular intervals of 10 m, shaped mesh, totaling 180 sampling points in different positions in the landscape. Samples were collected at depths of 0.00 to 0.10 m, 0.10-0.20 0.20-0.30 m me for the determination of clay, silt and sand. The data were submitted to descriptive statistics, geostatistics and kriging interpolation. The results demonstrate that migration occurred particles followed the flow of water present in causing the selective transport of sediment, which would imply higher erosion sediments, water and nutrients. The shed forms conditioned the movement and concentration of soil particles. The migration of clay to subsurface soil layers is related to the genesis of the soil and carrying of.

The Trans-Amazonian Highway (TAH) is located in the northern region of Brazil, comprising a border region where agricultural, mining, and logging activities are the main activities responsible for fostering economic development, in addition to large hydroelectric plants. Such activities lead to environmental contamination by potentially toxic elements (PTEs). Environmental monitoring is only possible through the determination of element contents under natural conditions. Many extraction methods have been proposed to determine PTEs' bioavailability in the soil; however, there is no consensus about which extractor is most suitable. In this study, we determined the contents of PTEs in soils in the surroundings of TAH after mineral extraction with diethylenetriaminepentaacetic acid-triethanolamine (DTPA-TEA), Mehlich I, and Mehlich III solutions. Soil samples were collected in areas of natural vegetation in the vicinity of TAH in the state of Pará, Brazil. Chemical attributes and particle size were determined, besides concentrations of Fe, Al, Mn, and Ti by sulfuric acid digestion, Si after alkaline solution attack, and poorly crystalline Fe, Al, and "free" Fe oxides. Mehlich III solution extracted greater contents from Fe, Al, and Pb as compared to Mehlich I and DTPA-TEA and similar contents from Cd, Mn, Zn, and Cu. Significant correlations were found between concentrations of PTEs and the contents of Fe and Mn oxides as well as organic carbon and soil cation exchange capacity. Contents of Cu, Mn, Fe, and Zn by the three methods were positively correlated.
