Eqüidade de gênero e saúde das mulheres

Abstract: Inicialmente são contadas duas histórias: uma ocorrida na Idade Média, em Florença, Itália, e outra na década de 90, do século passado, no Rio de Janeiro, Brasil. Ambas referem-se ao princípio da Justiça, o pilar ético da Eqüidade. A partir daí é feita uma análise de gênero da situação de saúde das mulheres e o quanto ela reflete as iniqüidades advindas das condições de desigualdade social a que estão submetidas.
