Abstract: INTRODUÇÃONeste momento em que o Governo do Brasil resolve encetar a colonização da Amazônia, através da construção da Rodovia Transamazônica, ressalta como fator limitante a esse enorme esforço econômico e administrativo, a existência de algumas endemias em atividade naquela extensa região.
