Objective: To report the experience of implementing social technologies in vulnerable communities to foster individual and community potential for health promotion, poverty reduction and sustainable development. Method:The experience reports were collected from July 2010 to June 2015 with 200 individuals residing in vulnerable communities, in Bahia, Brazil. The experiences were reported in stages: 1) Awareness and diagnostics; 2) Workshops on different subjects; 3) Deployment of social technologies. Results:The participants were notified of the importance of sustainable development and the environmental and health conditions were diagnosed. Actions for sustainable development were planned, with the implementation of acoustic artefacts (natural fibres) and experimental kitchens (homemade sweets). Conclusions:Considering that health comprises actions that promote the quality of life, the use of social technologies favoured health promotion because they stimulated the potential of the participants. It also allowed the diversification of the community's income source and sustainable development, which reduces poverty and fosters sustainability, quality of life and health promotion.Keywords: Millennium Development Goals. RESUMO Objetivo: Relato de experiência sobre a implantação de tecnologias sociais em comunidades vulneráveis, objetivando promover potencialidades individuais e comunitárias por meio da promoção da saúde, da redução da pobreza e do desenvolvimento sustentável. Resultados: Sensibilização dos participantes sobre a importância do desenvolvimento sustentável; diagnóstico de condições ambientais e de saúde. Realização do planejamento de ações para o desenvolvimento sustentável, a implementação de oficinas de artefatos acústicos (fibras naturais) e de cozinhas (doces caseiros). Conclusões:Considerando que a promoção da saúde engloba ações voltadas à qualidade de vida, a utilização de tecnologias sociais favoreceu a promoção da saúde, pois estimulou o potencial dos participantes. Ademais, permitiu a diversificação da fonte de renda e o desenvolvimento sustentável, criando meios para a redução da pobreza e promovendo sustentabilidade, qualidade de vida e promoção da saúde. The contemporary context of population aging, itsthe population's different health and disease characteristics, and the growing incorporation of technologies by healthcare systems have highlighted the need to adjust the healthcare structure as a whole. The defense of a democratic and sustainable system reveals the importance of understanding how changes in healthcare take place. The current article aims to contribute to the understanding of innovation in healthcare services. The study's results indicate that the existence of certain knowledge gaps means that public policies tend to overlook a whole rangeseries of innovations normally associated with social changes, with a consequentwith an impact on human development, social cohesion, equality, and equity, allcentral issues that are central toin the field of collective public healthcare field. The article concludes that the lack of a mature theoretical framework negatively impacts the formulation of such policies, further aggravated in Brazil by growing differences in quality and access between population segments that depend on the public and private healthcare systems.

Resumo A capacitação de jovens artistas em empreendedores culturais, especialmente no contexto de comunidades periféricas, é uma importante ação para o desenvolvimento tanto dos jovens quanto de territórios potencialmente criativos. No entanto, o empreendedorismo cultural não aparece com frequência no currículo das escolas e as pedagogias de ensino-aprendizagem nem sempre atraem o interesse das novas gerações. Carece-se de pesquisas e propostas práticas sobre o ensino do empreendedorismo cultural nesse contexto. Neste artigo propõe-se uma tecnologia social – “sarau empreendedor”, voltada para um saber prático que possa ser mobilizado em comunidades para fomentar e desenvolver as forças empreendedoras locais no campo da cultura e das artes. O empreendedorismo cultural inclui atividades constituídas a partir da identidade territorial, da coletividade e dos seus impactos socioculturais positivos. Os resultados desta pesquisa contribuem para as pesquisas em ensino-aprendizagem do empreendedorismo cultural, ao proporem uma tecnologia social com potencial de impacto prático no desenvolvimento dos territórios criativos.Palavras-chave: Empreendedorismo cultural. Abstract The education of young artists into cultural entrepreneurs, especially in the context of peripheral communities, is an important action for the development of both young people and potentially creative territories. However, the issue of cultural entrepreneurship does not appear in the curriculum of schools and the prevalent teaching pedagogies are not always attractive to young interests. We lack research and practical proposals on cultural entrepreneurship teaching in such a context. This article proposes a social technology – “entrepreneurial gathering”, oriented to a practical knowledge that may be mobilized by communities in order to promote and develop local entrepreneurial forces in the field of culture and arts. Cultural entrepreneurship includes activities shaped from territorial identity, collectivity and its positive sociocultural impacts. The research results contribute to studies on teaching cultural entrepreneurship as it proposes a social technology with potential for practice-based impact in the development of creative territories.
