The present study aims to develop and validate a measurement scale for investigating the principle of intercooperation, in order to provide researchers in the field of cooperativism with a valid and reliable measure. To this end, four main steps were followed: conceptual mastery, theoretical validation, semantic validation, and statistical validation. First, a preliminary scale was developed based on a literature review and interviews with 20 representatives of cooperatives and representative organizations. Later, the evaluation was carried out by eight academic judges and analyzed using the Content Validity Coefficient. A pre‐test was then carried out with subjects from the population, and subsequently the scale was applied to a sample of 213 cooperatives. Finally, factor analysis was performed with the aim of evaluating convergent and factorial validity as well as individual and construct reliability. Thus, it is proposed that the principle of intercooperation be measured by two different scales. The first, called “Horizontal Intercooperation”, presented a Composite Reliability equal to 0.81 and Average Variance Extracted equal to 0.68. The second, called “Vertical Intercooperation”, presented a Composite Reliability equal to 0.96 and Average Variance Extracted equal to 0.69. After the analyses, the proposed intercooperation scales showed signs of validity and reliability.

Objetivo: A pandemia originou vários problemas de saúde, com elevada morbilidade e mortalidade e, em alguns casos, condições graves com possível impacto na quantidade de mortes súbitas cardíacas (MSC) no Brasil. O objetivo deste estudo foi avaliar o impacto da pandemia de COVID-19 na quantidade de mortes súbitas cardíacas (MSC) no Brasil entre 2020 e 2022. Métodos. Efetuamos um estudo epidemiológico, observacional, descritivo, de série temporal e análise contrafactual, utilizando uma abordagem bayesiana de modelo estrutural para séries temporais, com base em uma regressão difusa de espaço-estado calculando o ponto de ruptura (changuepoint) e o impacto causal referente ao ponto de mudança com a aplicação das diretrizes revisadas de Bradford Hill para determinar a causalidade. Resultados. Ao longo dos 13 anos de estudados (2010-2022) foram registrados 40.416 casos de MSC no Brasil, observamos um aumento significativo na média mensal de MSC durante o período de pandemia em relação ao período de pré-pandemia, de em média 176,6 casos mensais (DP: 38,78; IC95% 169,65-183,55) para em média 555,03 casos por mês (DP:75,4; IC95% 528,7-581,3) a partir da pandemia. Seguindo a tendência registrada antes da pandemia, seriam esperados uma resposta média predita de 186,74 (IC95%: 170-204) casos por mês. Em termos absolutos, houve um acréscimo de 12.522 (IC95%: 11926-13098) casos de MSC no período de pandemia. Conclusão. Percebemos que o aumento de casos de MSC ocorreu após o início da pandemia no Brasil, com significância estatística sendo plausível dado os mecanismos de ação do vírus não contradizendo estudos semelhantes que tangenciaram o tema, sendo razoável concluir que há um genuíno efeito do COVID-19 sobre a quantidade de mortes súbitas cardíacas.
