Antropometria craniana de recém-nascidos normais

Abstract: RESUMO -Objetivo:Foram realizadas medidas antropométricas de recém-nascidos (RN) baianos, para definir medidas condizentes com a realidade desta região. Método: Estudo tipo corte transversal em bebês de termo e normais com as medidas de perímetro cefálico, distância biauricular, distância anteroposterior, tamanho da fontanela e índice cefálico. “…There is no doubt that constructing intrauterine growth curves for a particular population can reveal proper profiles and that this method can allow us to avoid potential errors that arise from classifying newborns based on curves that are not appropriate for evaluating a particular population group 16 .
