Abstract: RESUMO -A doença vascular encefálica (AVE) é a principal causa de morte no Brasil.As seqüelas em indivíduos pós-acidente vascular encefálico incluem distúrbios motores, distúrbios de fala ou de linguagem e distúrbios de deglutição.
